SYLVANIA STRUMPETT:  Romanian actress and former glamour girl. She is currently typecast as a cheeky nurse in the latest comedy shot at the Pinetree Studios. Big blonde curls, and short sexy nurses outfit is her costume. She talks with an eastern European lilt.

 

WILLIAM D’ARSEY:  Husband to Sylvania Strumpett, 40 years old and very camp. Even though he is married his sexuality is still questioned. He is dressed in black tie with a white scarf. He is an important sponsor of films at Pinetree - and if Sylvania is a star in the film he will support it.

 

PIERS PINE-TREE: Aged 55 years old and father of the twins, Pandora and Pamela. He styles himself on Noel Coward, he is very English and calls everyone ‘old boy’. He sports a spiv moustache and always wears a smoking jacket. His cigarette and holder are never far away. He is very protective of his daughters and supports everything they do - whether they are right or wrong!

 

PAMELA PINE-TREE:  Director of ‘Swashbuckling Sam’. She is very masculine in her appearance, unlike her feminine sister. She is secretly dating an actor who has difficulty remembering his lines! She is a very talented director and is quite forward thinking for the day. She always dresses in a conservative black suit complete with tie and slicked back hair.

 

SYDNEY STUDD:  The heartthrob of the set ! Or is he? He is a bit of a rough diamond with a London accent. His face and body are scarred as he does all his own stunts. For the party he is dressed in his pirates outfit with an eye patch and carries a sword.

 

NINA NONICAS:  Beautiful Greek actress whose father is a very wealthy Greek shipping magnate. She has a quick temper and although is liked by all, they all secretly fear her. She plays a princess who was captured by the pirate. Her own image is very much the ‘busty wench’ and she arrives at the party in her outfit for the film.

JOHNNY COME-QUICKLY:  He is a very camp actor who flirts outrageously with Sidney Studd. He is dressed as Peter Pan and loved this role. He considers himself an excellent actor and can’t understand why he doesn’t get the best roles.

 

TRIXIE TARTTE:  She is fairy to Johnny Come-Quickly’s Peter Pan. She is quite naive and new on set. She agrees with everyone’s views even when she has a different opinion.  Dressed in her woodland fairy costume and wings, she also carries a gold wand.

 

JULIA SEIZE-HERR:  She is currently starring in the latest historical drama being shot at the studio. She is 35, masculine in appearance but feminine in mannerisms. She treats other women with little respect and is very sexist in her views. She arrives on set wearing her warrior costume and carries a shield and dagger. She is moody and arrogant and keeps herself to herself.

DR ZED VERTIGO:  He plays the doctor to Sylvanias nurse in the latest comedy being shot at Pinetree. He starred as a doctor in his own drama ‘Dr Vertigo’, but as he has got older the best parts have gone to younger actors. He arrives at the party wearing his white doctor’s coat and half moon spectacles perched on the end of his nose. A stethoscope hangs loose around his neck and his grey hair is worn brushed back.
