Murder At Cactus Creek Saloon
It’s 1897 and Cactus Creek is quite a new town. As the saloon is opened lots of guests fire their guns into the air in celebration and Willy Coyote, the Mayor collapses. He is dead with a single gunshot wound to the head. Was it an accident or did someone want to kill poor Willy?

If you would like us to adapt this game to suit your number of guests please contact us.

The guest list includes:

CACTUS JACK: Owner of the ‘Cactus Creek Saloon’ and he is married to an Indian squaw. Jack is a typical cowboy and wears a huge brown Stetson, a red neckerchief, leather chaps and a waistcoat. He is known for his love of gambling.

LITTLE RUNNING WATER: Wife of Cactus Jack (and beautiful daughter of Chief Big Bear). She is never far from her husband’s side. She wears her traditional beige Indian dress to the party & her black hair is worn in plaits.

JOSE HABANERO:  Mexican drifter who often loses at cards at the saloon. He wears a big sombrero and a bright poncho. He has long messy hair and a droopy moustache. He is never seen without a big cigar or his rifle.

FIFI LA BELLE: Saloon girl who keeps the punters happy - in more ways than one. She always wears a glamorous red dress and has feathers in her blonde curly hair.

BILL BULLITT:  Deputy who thinks he can solve every crime in the town single handed!  He is very proud of his badge and wears an extra one on his white cowboy hat just for good luck. He is a crack shot and always carries two guns-worn at his hips.

LOLA LA RUE: Blonde saloon girl who has a soft spot for Cactus Jack - but did they have a fling? She is known to help the gamblers cheat for a few dollars bribe. She wears a blue saloon girl dress and has feathers in her hair.

BUTCH BIGHORN: Cowboy and gambler, who wears a black Stetson, chaps and spurs on his boots. He hates to lose at cards and many opponents who have beaten him often disappear.

JANE PLANE: School mistress who is very prim and proper. She blushes at anything and at forty is still very single and on the shelf! Her hair is tucked into a neat bun and she wears a long black a-line skirt and a white blouse to the party.

CHIEF BIG BEAR:  Indian Chief of the local Soo-Soo tribe and father of Little Running Water. He has very long hair and wears his full headdress for the special occasion. He brings a bow and arrow set as a gift for Jack.

CALAMITY CLARA:  Local landowner who has run her ranch since her husband died five years ago. She has a liking for the young ranch hands who work for her. She has long blonde hair and wears her favourite leather outfit of chaps and a waistcoat. She often carries a whip.

RANDY RUSCHETTI: Ranch hand who can lasso a galloping horse at 70m. He is the envy of the other ranch hands at ‘Calamity Ranch’ because of his talent both with the horses and the ladies of Cactus Creek.  He wears a black Stetson, white shirt open to his waist, leather chaps and a waistcoat.

ANNIE OAKEY:  Saloon madam who looks after Lola and Fifi. She wears a gold dress with long gloves and feathers in her blonde curly hair. Dollar bills are often seen tucked in the top of her dress but where does she wear her gun?

HANK HARDRIDER:  Cowboy and ranch hand who often drinks at the saloon. He never takes his brown Stetson off and is often seen stroking the feather in it or touching his beard. Hank is quick on the draw and carries his two guns in holsters tied low on his thighs.

HONEY POTT: Cowgirl whose Daddy is one of the richest landowners locally. She likes to think she is a crack shot and as good as any man. Daddy always wanted a son so Honey tries hard to please him. She wears a red, white and blue skirt & top, cowboy boots and a big white Stetson is perched on her blonde curls. She wears a gun tucked into her garter.

LITTLE BIG BEAR: Eldest son of Chief Big Bear who is nearly always scowling especially when in the company of palefaces. He arrives at the party wearing his tribal costume of brown trousers, a beige tunic and he carries an axe & a peace pipe.

SUGAR DROP: She is the owner of the town’s grocery store and she promises to get anything the good townsfolk need. She is also the biggest gossip in Cactus Creek. She wears a black and white fringed cowgirl outfit and matching boots.
