Murder At The Captains Table
Set in the present day, aboard the luxury cruise liner, The Diamond Princess, cruising around the Caribbean in the winter sunshine. Twelve lucky guests have been invited to the Captains table for dinner on the first night. Upon the captains arrival one of the guests is missing. The crew goes to look for Lady Priscilla Spenda-Pennie, the famous English poet. She is found dead, slumped against the toilet in the ladies room on the top deck. Is it murder? Who would kill the heiress to the multi million Spenda-Pennie fortunes?

If you would like us to adapt this game to suit your number of guests please contact us.

The guest list includes:

YUMMI GUNN-GUNN: Twenty-something Japanese Heiress. Exotically beautiful apart from her squint. She wears traditional Japanese robes, stiletto heels and wears chopsticks in her hair and carries a large handbag full of make-up, hair spray etc which she continually applies throughout the party.

MARCEL MASSEUR: French Yoga teacher who is part of the ‘Holistic Health’ team on board ship. Blonde and tanned and only eighteen he is the epitome of health and vitality. With his pearly white teeth, tight shorts and bright red T-shirt women and men alike adore him! (His ‘accent’ slips regularly throughout the meal) He lied about his background and age to get on ship

EUREKA FROST-LIPP: Swedish middle aged businesswoman who wears her traditional black and red and is on board recovering from ‘major surgery’ (namely to her lips and eyes). Arched eyebrows, red swollen lips and dark sunglasses, plus the obligatory bottle of medicinal Vodka, are a familiar sight on the decks of the cruise liner.

CAPTAIN HANS ALLOVER: German Captain of the cruise liner. A big, jolly man with red ruddy cheeks (from too much port and fine food). He thinks he is the ships ‘Romeo’ who delights in entertaining the older ladies on board. He wears traditional white shorts, white shirt with epaulettes and white knee high socks. Hans always carries a hip flask.

LENA LAYA: Eighteen year old, red haired, Polish nursery nurse. Wears her neat white uniform, sensible white pumps and thick black eyeliner. She misses Poland but regularly finds comfort in the arms of the ships men - usually the fathers!

DR. MAHATMA COTE: Famous Indian heart surgeon taking time out from his busy workload and charities. Suave, sophisticated and with an excellent bedside manner, he charms all. Wears chinos, deck shoes and designer polo shirt. His tanned skin is shiny (he is hot even with air conditioning). He constantly smoothes his jet-black moustache.

RENE ROULETTE: Lady luck is always on Rene’s side. She is the croupier in the casino and is blonde, buxom and is from London’s East End. Too much good living has played havoc with her figure-making it more pint glass than hour glass. Wearing the ships uniform of a simple black dress, she carries her lucky dice and cards wherever she goes. She entertains the guests with her card tricks.

TONY TORTELLINI: Italian food exporter and is very wealthy. He always wears designer suits with a matching polo neck jumper underneath, dark sunglasses and carries a folio case with him everywhere. He is typically Italian, very passionate, fiery and hot headed and when talking, he gesticulates with his hands continuously.

CANDY CANE: Lady Candice Cane is the best friend of Lady Priscilla. She likes to be known as Candy and is heiress to a chocolate and sweet empire. She is married to Goalio and loves him dearly despite his faults. She always wears pink and is very girly and fluffy. For the party she is wearing pink frilly ball gown, long white gloves and high heeled gold shoes. Her long blonde hair is swept to one side and secured with delicate pink flowers. Her best diamonds have been brought from the safe for tonight.

GOALIO: Brazilian footballer turned manager and husband of Lady Candy. He is a very rude and arrogant man who loves women, money and life to the full. Tonight he is wearing his new DJ complete with red cummerbund and bow tie. His dark curly hair a stark contrast to his white jacket.

MISSY ZIPPY: American fifty something cruising the Caribbean still in search of Mr. Right. Missy is very wealthy, loud, and opinionated. She is known for always laughing in totally inappropriate places and at her own jokes. She claims to be psychic and attempts to read the palms of the other guests.  She has wild untamed red curls, obviously dyed, and wears an elegant blue dress.

SHEIKH MUSTAFA PEA: Arabic shipping magnate and hotelier. He owns the Diamond Princess and regularly travels aboard. He has seven wives back in Dubai but is apparently having an affair with a member of the crew. He always wears designer suits but with his traditional Arab headdress and dark glasses. He rubs his beard when he is annoyed or irritated.
